The Naruto German House

Bando Oasacho, Naruto City had the “Bando War Camp” that held German prisoners during the First World War. The Bando War Camp was unique in the world at that time due to its humanitarian management policy. In The Naruto German House, stories of the exchange between the German soldiers and the local residents have been passed down, and numerous of other valuable materials from that time are exhibited.
In “The Ninth Theater”, you can watch a musical performed by a life-sized German soldier puppet. In addition, the Bando War Camp is also known as the Asian premier location of “Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony”.
